As your County Commissioner, Bryan will pledge to manage taxpayer dollars responsibly with a firm commitment to prioritizing the citizens in any financial decision. Bryan's goal is to maintain a balanced budget, ensuring that Duchesne County remains financially stable for future generations
 

  • Support Planned and Responsible Economic Diversification and Growth
     

Bryan understands and values the importance of diversifying our local economy while also strengthening our existing industries. He is dedicated to preserving our agricultural heritage and promoting the expansion of local independence. Bryan is committed to ensuring the preservation of the recreational activities in Duchesne County. Bryan's main focus will be on promoting responsible growth and development that will benefit future generations. Moreover, he will actively work towards protecting our open spaces and fostering economic opportunities that benefit all residents of our community.
 

  • Work and Collaborate with the Ute Tribe on Local Projects and Objectives that are Mutually beneficial
     

Much of the Ute Tribe Reservation lies within the borders of Duchesne County. This not only makes us neighbors, but is makes us both stakeholders in the health and vitality of Duchesne County. Bryan understands that there are many benefits, as well as challenges that come with this unique relationship. He feels that it is important to develop and maintain a good working relationship built on trust and respect. 
 

ABOUT BRYAN

Bryan Winterton was born and raised in Duchesne County, where he currently resides with his wife of 9 years and their 4 children. He possesses a profound love, knowledge, and pride for this area and its people. With connections to nearly every part of the county through his own experiences, friendships, and family ties, Bryan offers a unique perspective on the rural needs, issues, and priorities of the community. Recognizing the importance of promoting the local economy, fostering community alliances, ensuring local protection, and safeguarding future freedoms, Bryan has made the decision to run for County Commissioner.

Throughout his life, Bryan has consistently demonstrated his motivation, competence, and ability to quickly learn. Shortly after high school, he led a framing crew and pursued mastery in various aspects of the building trade, including framing, roofing, concrete work, cabinetry, electrical work, plumbing, and heating. Bryan furthered his education by graduating from massage therapy school and specializing in alignment therapy/structural integration. Along the way, he also gained experience in heavy equipment operation, oilfield construction, oilfield pumping, and county maintenance and repair work. These diverse professional pursuits exemplify Bryan's dedication, adaptability, self-drive, and passion for mastering new skills.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Bryan actively participates in local sports, cherishes quality time with his family, explores the great outdoors, and avidly pursues knowledge in his areas of interest.

Having witnessed his father's service as County Commissioner, Bryan has been able to gain valuable insight into the inner workings of the role. He is fully aware of the responsibilities, requirements, dedication, potential challenges, demanding hours, and the need for personal drive involved in the position.

With his unique blend of skills, personality, and experiences, Bryan is well-equipped for the tasks ahead. He will utilize his diverse skill set, creative problem-solving abilities, and unwavering dedication to serve his community as County Commissioner. Bryan is deeply committed to understanding the needs and interests of the residents of Duchesne County and aims to address their concerns, promote growth, and contribute to the betterment of the community.
